About Us
Elisabeth Peters has over 50 years experience of working with an international organisation Initiatives of Change (IofC) mainly in Sweden, New Zealand and UK.
Upon finishing school in Gothenburg she went directly into voluntary work with IofC (then known as MRA) in London. Later she spent some years in New Zealand, principally working with the Maori people.
After marrying in 1981, she spent 30 year with her English husband Edward in England, mainly in Oxford. She managed some of IofC UK's training programmes for young people, and was a member of IofC UK's Pastoral Care Team - as well as in her local church in Oxford. She trained as a Mentor.
In 2011, she and her husband moved to Sweden, where they live in Säby on the west coast.
Elisabeth loves making and maintaining an 'English' garden in the wilderness. She is a creative person, also in the kitchen and with her knitting needles.
With her husband she sings in the Valla Choir.
